My own personalized music radio station

A few weeks ago, Àlex suggested that I try Pandora, a “simple” online application where you can create your own Internet radio stations by suggesting the artists and/or songs you like most. And here comes the most surprising part: Pandora learns from your suggestions and ratings (you can vote on every song you listen to) and keeps recommending new songs and artists thanks to the Music Genome Project.

Can it help me discover more music I’ll like? The answer is: yes.

Update: Today I discovered a related gadget, the Squeezebox. Interesting, nicely designed, though a bit expensive (for me).
